BEAL is proud to announce the opening of its brand new IRATA training centre, designed to provide a premium experience for working at height professionals and ensure the highest standards of the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA).
Why did BEAL choose to certify its center with IRATA?
RATA, the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association, is the world’s leading organisation for rope access. Established in the late 1980s in the UK, it initially catered to the maintenance needs of the offshore oil and gas industry. Today, IRATA has trained over 100,000 rope access technicians and has over 400 members worldwide.
The reasons for this choice are obvious:
International recognition: IRATA certifications are a mark of excellence and professionalism, recognized in the industrial, oil, gas and nuclear sectors. They represent the only rope access certification recognized worldwide, ensuring uniformity and reliability of professionals' skills on an international scale. They therefore offer trainees the opportunity to work anywhere in the world.
Unmatched Safety Standards : The IRATA method ensures an exceptional safety record , with proven techniques that reduce risk and increase efficiency.
A universal method : IRATA eliminates the need for bulky equipment and reduces assembly times, while offering solutions suitable for a wide range of applications.
Demanding and comprehensive IRATA training
IRATA training courses, for levels 1, 2 and 3, take place over 5 days and combine theoretical and practical sessions and a final assessment. This intensive program guarantees rapid and solid skills development. BEAL has entrusted the supervision of these sessions to trainers who are among the most recognized in the IRATA network for their teaching methods. Every detail is designed to maximize the trainees' chances of success.
Comfort and concentration: a framework designed for success
Our training centre has been designed to allow each trainee to devote themselves fully to their learning , without any loss of time or worry. A full catering offer (meals and snacks) is included to simplify the organisation, and the proximity of an airport, a train station, motorway access and free on-site parking guarantees optimal accessibility. In partnership with local hotels, we also offer suitable accommodation solutions, allowing participants to remain fully focused on the success of their IRATA certification.
Break times to optimize learning
Because break times are essential in intensive training, we have set up warm and perfectly equipped rest areas , encouraging exchanges between trainees while offering them an ideal setting to relax. In addition, our partnerships with local service providers, such as a climbing room and a bar for friendly afterworks, allow us to maintain a balance between learning, comfort and conviviality.
SIGEDI Testimony
SIGEDI, a renowned company in the metallurgical and mechanical sector , particularly for the nuclear industry and SEVESO companies, had the opportunity to test our training center in preview during the annual refresher of their rope access technicians. Régis Clément, Rope Access Technician at SIGEDI testifies:
"Annual refresher course for rope access technicians from the SIGEDI - GROUPE ALBATROS Loyettes agency organized at BEAL, in their brand new IRATA training center. Great time spent between rope access technicians, and a high-end infrastructure that allowed us to work on our know-how while making the most of every minute of the course."
