Since our beginnings, we have always designed and manufactured our products ourselves. Being a manufacturer, facing the challenges of production, means acquiring essential expertise to guarantee quality and innovation. And it is thanks to our many years of experience that we have become essential references in technology and the development of new standards on the PPE market.
We believe in expertise
In France, we manufacture 50% of the ropes we sell worldwide. Our flagship models, such as the dynamic Intensive Line and Mountain Line ropes, as well as our specialized ropes for tree pruning work, are proudly made in France.
We perpetuate this know-how within the Pierre and Jeannine BEAL workshop, named in homage to our founder. All our products are imagined and designed in France, and to meet global demand while continuing to innovate, we have established a second BEAL factory in Madagascar. This expansion allows us to maintain a high level of production and quality while respecting the strictest international standards.
As a world leader and manufacturer of ropes, we infuse all our know-how into the design of our products. We ensure that each rope-metal combination is perfect, to protect your ropes and extend their life. Our expertise in ropes inspires the creation of our complete range: connectors, belay devices, harnesses, and much more.
In 2024, BEAL adopts a new visual identity marked by the Pantone color 2627C, a purple, symbol of our boldness and commitment. This transversal color is present across our entire new product range, providing consistency and immediate recognition. Our designs now highlight the areas of contact with the body for greater comfort and intuitiveness. The color combinations offer a rich range allowing everyone to compose their own universe.

Unicore technology on dynamic rope
This unique innovation makes the core and sheath of the rope integral, providing increased safety and better resistance to friction. To date, no other manufacturer has succeeded in reproducing this technology for dynamic ropes.
Dry Cover Treatment
This chemical treatment reinforces the resistance of our ropes to friction, particularly in wet conditions.
Golden Dry Process
Developed to combat water absorption and abrasion, it offers exceptional performance for mountaineers and excels in the UIAA Water Repellent test.
Lightness and Versatility
The Joker is the world's first dynamic rope to obtain triple certification, usable as a twin, half and single rope, with a revolutionary weight of 51g/m. The Opera rope will also follow the triple certification, this time falling below 50g/m, a benchmark that is still unmatched.
